Konosai is a high-tech enterprise with chromatography purification products as its core, focusing on providing separation and purification solutions for downstream biopharmaceutical industries. With continuous research and development innovation and profound technological accumulation, Konosai has successfully built two major research and development technology platforms for polymers and agarose, and developed four categories of chromatography fillers: polystyrene/divinylbenzene matrix (PS-DVB), polymethyl methacrylate matrix (PMMA), agarose matrix, and glucan matrix. At the same time, it provides a variety of chromatography columns and oligonucleotide solid-phase synthesis carriers, covering different stages and application scenarios of downstream purification, and its product performance can benchmark against internationally renowned brands.
As one of the core technologies of Konosai, the ultra large pore ball making technology achieves precise control of microsphere particle size, pore size and distribution, filling the technical gap of ultra large pore polymer chromatographic fillers in China. With the disruptive innovation of this underlying technology, Konosai has successfully developed a high load and high flow rate ultra large pore chromatography packing, which can carry up to 10 times the load of ordinary agarose packing and 2 times the load of ordinary polymer packing for larger individual biomolecules. At the same time, it can maintain the integrity of protein or virus structure, effectively solving the problem of separation and purification of ultra large viruses, virus carriers, and ultra large protein molecules, providing strong technical support for the biopharmaceutical field.
Kono Sai has currently formed a complete independent brand system, covering Chromrose ®、 Crystal, MoSphere ®、 MegaGelTM, PolyGelTM, HiQumn ®、 MiQumn ® Our series of products have been widely used in the biopharmaceutical field, including antibodies, vaccines, viruses, CGT, nucleic acids, polysaccharides, insulin, peptides, antibiotics, recombinant proteins, and blood products. Our products have been applied in research and development, clinical application, and commercial production by nearly a hundred domestic biopharmaceutical enterprises and research institutions.
He graduated from the State Key Laboratory of Biochemical Engineering, Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2009, and has been studying polymer microspheres and chromatographic fillers for 17 years. His main research interests include super pore fast flow biological separation media, blood purification materials, and medical nanomaterials. He has presided over more than 12 national projects such as natural gas, and has been granted 9 Chinese invention patents and 1 Italian patent. As the first/corresponding author in Adv Function Material, Macroolecules, ACS Appl Material Interfaces, Macromol RapidComm, Anal Chim Acta, J. Chromatogor A total of 50 academic papers have been published in A-level journals, including more than 30 papers indexed by SCI. Its unique ultra narrow and double channel technology has reached the international advanced level.
